Yoga Works™ was founded by Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller, and together with Lisa Walford they sought to uphold the 5,000 year-old tradition of yoga by infusing the classical Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga schools. Yoga Works™ is also complemented by Alan Finger's deep knowledge on Tantric practice and the subtle body, making the curriculum incredibly diverse, rich and comprehensive. Suzanne assisted Catherine Munro for Yoga Works' 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Trainings in August 2008 and 2009.

Throughout her training and while living in Los Angeles, Suzanne studied with renowned teachers such as Annie Carpenter, John Friend, Chris Chavez, Sean Corne, Christine Sell, Martin Kirk, Lisa Walford, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Max Strom, Shiva Rea, Alan Finger, Brian Kest, Vinne Marino,  John Doyle and Erich Schiffmann.  She studied with several prominent yoga therapists, including Jnani Chapman, Judith Lasater, Richard Miller,  Amy Weintraub, Ushi Devi and Bramacharya Rudra Dev.

Suzanne apprenticed under Annie Carpenter  in Los Angeles at Yoga Works, Main Street. She studied pranayama under Lisa Walford, one of the Primary Founders of Yoga Works. Suzanne also studied extensively under Anodea Judith while she was completing her doctorate degree,  which allowed Suzanne to integrate the Chakra systems into her psychospiritual research. Suzanne has actively been involved with Tibetan Buddhist sanghas for over eight years, studying with Thrangu Rinpoche in Nepal, India and throughout North America.

Suzanne currently develops and clinically tests complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) programs in order to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors at BC Cancer Agency and UBC's Faculty of Medicine.
